Is it worth topping up old ceiling insulation?
Usually, yes. Insulation from a couple of decades ago has often settled, flattened or been disturbed, so it no longer performs. Topping up to the current standard is one of the cheapest ways to make a noticeable difference to warmth and power bills.
Do you do ceiling and underfloor together?
We do. Insulating the top and bottom of the house at the same time gives you the biggest jump in comfort, and it is often more efficient to have one team handle both while we are on site.
How disruptive is the install?
Ceiling insulation is fitted from inside the roof space, so there is very little disruption to your living areas. Most homes are completed within a day.
